Together We Can Make a Difference!

There was a time when the word cancer changed everything for me. I faced chemotherapy, radiation, a double mastectomy, and moments that tested me in ways I never imagined possible. But through every tear, every fear, and every difficult day, I found a strength inside of me that I didn’t know existed. Learning that I had passed the PALB2 gene on to my daughter was one of the hardest parts of this journey—not because I could ever change it, but because no mother wants to feel that she has passed something painful on to her child. Yet somehow, in the middle of all that fear, it brought us closer than ever. We faced the unknown together, held each other up, and turned something heartbreaking into something that strengthened our bond. Today, I can proudly say that I am in remission. I didn’t just survive cancer—I came out of it stronger, more empowered, and more grateful for life than ever before. This journey took so much from me, but it also gave me a perspective, a courage, and a love for my daughter that I will carry with me forever. I am a survivor, I am stronger than I ever knew, and I will forever choose to see this chapter not for what it took from me, but for the strength it gave me.
