TEAM GLORY
My journey is a long one, but faith, family, and friends got me to this place. Due to a misdiagnosis, I had been scheduled for a rectal operation in September, 2024. Upon successfully completing the customary clearance, I showed my family physician my bulging abdomen. Alarmed, he ordered a Cat-scan ASAP. One of the worst days of my life occurred when my family doctor called me with the news that a mass had been discovered in my abdomen. There were many mishaps along the way: a biopsy that could not be completed, a doctor at Northern Dutchess Hospital who refused to give me help, seven paracenteses, blood clots, esophagitis, bladder retention, nurse who took forever because :"I was on an ice cream break" and a thwarted operation because I had turned blue (Reynaud had not been put on my chart). However, I always remembered that there are others worse than me and that God was with me. My family and some friends were amazing. THANK YOU!
