Temple Beth Am: TEAMitzvah
Thank you for all of your support in our fundraising efforts over the years for Support Connection. Unfortunately, cancer never takes a holiday, so the words "you have cancer" is continuing to be heard by women and their families every day. Therefore, our fundraising efforts continue to be important this year and every year. Last year we broke our record and raised over $5000! Support Connection's, Support - A- Walk, turns 31 and I have been cancer free 21 years so we have much to celebrate! Let's reach our goal of $5,500 this year!
On Sunday Oct. 5, 2025 we will walk at FDR park to raise funds for our free breast and ovarian cancer support services, but you are STILL welcome to walk where you are, near and far. This way, no matter where you live, you can join us as we all work together for a common cause!
So everyone can be on TEAMitzvah!

SUPPORT
CONNECTION is a truly unique organization. Since 1996, they have helped
thousands of people whose lives have been impacted by breast and
ovarian cancer. Support Connection provides critically needed
counseling, support groups, educational and wellness programs, and
resource information – all at no cost to those who need them.
Everyone
at Support Connection is passionate about their mission. Their Peer
Counselors are cancer survivors themselves. They understand how
important it is to have someone to lean on when your world is turned
upside down by a cancer diagnosis.
Support Connection must raise all of the funds for their year-round services, so the Support-A-Walk is a very important event!
It's
