Dedicate a Crane – Help Hope Take Flight

For a $20 donation, Support Connection will create a beautiful origami crane in honor or memory of someone special in your life. Your crane will carry a personal message and be displayed at our Support-A-Walk on Sunday, October 5, 2025, as part of a powerful tribute to those affected by breast, ovarian, and gynecological cancers.

Your donation helps fund our free, year-round cancer support services—and spreads hope with every fold.

The Meaning of the Origami Crane

In Japanese tradition, the origami crane is a powerful symbol of hope, healing, and peace. It is said that if one folds 1,000 cranes, their deepest wish will come true. Cranes are believed to live for a thousand years, and folding each one is an act of patience, love and perseverance.

These cranes will be folded with care and purpose to honor the strength, courage, and resilience of those who have faced cancer. Each crane carries a message--a wish for continued healing, for moments of light in dark times, and for the spirit to soar high, unbroken.
