This year, i am raising funds for the 2024 walk to support breast and ovarian cancer in honor of my warrior queen-my sister, eileen, who bravely fought ovarian cancer. Her strength continues to inspire me everyday. In 2023 i was diagnosed with breast cancer. after months of treatment, I am grateful to say that i am doing well and ready to give back. This walk is not just about awareness-its about action.its about helping others in the fight and supporting research to end these diseases for good. Come walk with me! SUPPORT CONNECTION is a truly unique organization. Since 1996, they have helped thousands of people whose lives have been impacted by breast, ovarian and other gynecological cancers Support Connection provides critically needed counseling, support groups, educational and wellness programs, and resource information – all at no cost to those who need them.
Everyone at Support Connection is passionate about their mission. Their Peer Counselors are cancer survivors themselves. They understand how important it is to have someone to lean on when your world is turned upside down by a cancer diagnosis.
Support Connection must raise all of the funds for their year-round services, so the Support-A-Walk is a very important event!
