My name is Patty imm.
I am a wife, mother of 4, grandmother of 5—-and i am a 16 year cancer survivor—-i have turned to support connection many times over those years—the counselors there have helped me through some very difficult times with their compassion and their kindness—-they offer many programs such as peer counseling, yoga, book club , meetings, art classes, and more. They are such a valuable resource in the community.
I am participating in the support -a-walk again this year on the team “immagine a world without cancer”
I would also like to honor my family members who have had breast cancer

SUPPORT CONNECTION is a truly unique organization. Since 1996, they have helped thousands of people whose lives have been impacted by breast, ovarian and other gynecological cancers Support Connection provides critically needed counseling, support groups, educational and wellness programs, and resource information – all at no cost to those who need them.
Everyone at Support Connection is passionate about their mission. Their Peer Counselors are cancer survivors themselves. They understand how important it is to have someone to lean on when your world is turned upside down by a cancer diagnosis.
Support Connection must raise all of the funds for their year-round services, so the Support-A-Walk is a very important event!
