This summer, I celebrated my 30th anniversary since my diagnosis with ovarian cancer. I've been volunteering for Support Connection since they opened in 1996 and I sincerely believe in the work that they do. I am raising funds for the 2024 Support-A-Walk for Breast and Ovarian Cancer. SUPPORT CONNECTION is a truly unique organization. Since 1996, they have helped thousands of people whose lives have been impacted by breast, ovarian and other gynecological cancers. Support Connection provides critically needed counseling, support groups, educational and wellness programs, and resource information – all at no cost to those who need them.
Everyone at Support Connection is passionate about their mission. Their Peer Counselors are cancer survivors themselves. They understand how important it is to have someone to lean on when your world is turned upside down by a cancer diagnosis.
