SUPPORT CONNECTION is a truly unique organization. Since 1996, they have helped thousands of people whose lives have been impacted by breast, ovarian and other gynecological cancers. Support Connection provides critically needed counseling, support groups, educational and wellness programs, and resource information – all at no cost to those who need them.
Their Peer Counselors are cancer survivors themselves. They understand how important it is to have someone to lean on when your world is turned upside down by a cancer diagnosis.
In 2014 Support Connection helped me when I was going through breast cancer and since then I have been involved with this amazing organization.
Support Connection must raise all of the funds for their year-round services, so the Support-A-Walk is a very important event!
This year I am walking in honor of a friend who is fighting her fight. She will be in my thoughts on Sunday, October 1, Please join the walk with my team and please donate, no amount is too small as it all adds up. Help make a difference!
