Most of you know I was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2007. Crazy to say that was 15 years ago! I could not have made it through without the support of my family and friends. Support Connection was an important part of my recovery. I am still volunteering for Support Connection facilitating support groups to help women through their treatments. Andrea Karl was my person at Support Connection and her support meant everything to me. I think about her all the time and know she is watching over all of us. She is the reason I continue to volunteer at Support Connection because she was always there for me to talk whenever I needed her. Support Connection provides an amazing space for women to come together and help each other heal. Your support is greatly appreciated.

SUPPORT CONNECTION is a truly unique organization. Since 1996, they have helped thousands of people whose lives have been impacted by breast, ovarian and gynecological cancer. Support Connection provides critically needed counseling, support groups, educational and wellness programs, and resource information – all at no cost to those who need them.
Everyone at Support Connection is passionate about their mission. Their Peer Counselors are cancer survivors themselves. They understand how important it is to have someone to lean on when your world is turned upside down by a cancer diagnosis.
Support Connection must raise all of the funds for their year-round services, so the Support-A-Walk is a very important event!
