Join Us for Support Connection's "Woodland Ramble" Hike
Support Connection and the Yorktown Trail Town Committee invites you to join us on a guided 3.5 mile fundraising hike on easy trails through Sylvan Glen’s woodlands, including the abandoned Mohegan Granite Quarry where you’ll discover echoes of Yorktown’s industrial past. This is an ideal family activity (suggested for kids 8+).
All proceeds will go to Support Connection, a not-for-profit organization that provides free, unlimited counseling and support programs and services to people affected by breast, ovarian or any gynecological cancer.
An experienced guide, who is well versed in Yorktown's rich history, will leave every 30 minutes between 8:30 and 10:00am. Choose your preferred ticket option(s) to the right and register using our secure online site ... then join us at your convenience.
- Meet at the Granite Knolls Sports Center parking lot located at 2975 Stoney Street, Yorktown, NY.
- Allow 2 hours for the round trip.
- Wear sturdy footwear.
- Hike is rain or shine.
